'Squid Game' Creator is Already Talking to Netflix About Season 3

According to reports, we could be seeing a whole lot of Squid Game in the next few years. Initially, seemingly not open to the idea of a second season, the hit Korean Netflix show’s creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk slowly warmed to the idea of Season 2 but now it seems that fans can expect another installment to follow.

Speaking to Korean broadcaster KBS, Hwang said “I’m in talks with Netflix over Season 2 as well as Season 3.” Adding noting that news regarding the future of the show should be coming soon. “We will come to a conclusion any time soon.”

Sharing his changed outlook on Season 2 of Squid Game, Hwang Dong-Hyuk said “We are aware that everyone is waiting [for the next season to come out] so we’re all trying to think positively about the creation of the next season.”
