Early Look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "St. Patrick's Day"
Metallic gold Swooshes, white shamrocks and green uppers honor the annual March holiday.
Celebratory footwear is definitely not an area that Nike lacks in as it will often manufacture special sneakers to commemorate the various holidays throughout the calendar year. And with St. Patrick’s Day coming up in just a few months time, we’re already capturing a sneak peek into what the Swoosh has up its sleeve for the Irish holiday, one being this Nike SB Dunk Low “St. Patrick’s Day” colorway.
Colors and icons that are most relevant to the annual March celebrations are applied to the classic skateboarding silhouette. The uppers are fully engineered with a suede material that is dialed to a clover-inspired green, and comes embellished with gilded finishes on the Swooshes and traditional Nike branding that lands on the tongues and heels which are likely symbolic of a pot of gold. To further echo its festive spirit, the Nike SB team stitches in white shamrocks on the heels of the lateral panels. Crispy white midsoles and full gum bottoms down below string together its playful presentation.
If you’re interested in copping, you can anticipate these to drop sometime closer to the March 2022 holiday via Nike and/or select skate shops.
Elsewhere in the world of footwear, official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Barber Shop” have appeared.
