JJJJound Teases Its Upcoming BAPE STA Collaboration
The neutral-toned colorway is expected to drop during Spring/Summer 2022.
Footwear collaborations have become a prominent component of JJJJound‘s brand identity in recent years as it has managed to align with various partners from New Balance to Vans to Reebok to create striking offerings. After recently dropping its two-piece capsule with Danner, the Montreal-located entity has taken a moment to preview a jaw-dropping collaboration that it has in the pipeline for 2022: a JJJJound x BAPE STA.
For the overall design of this forthcoming sneaker, JJJJound lends its minimalistic language to the classic silhouette and fashions it with neutral tones. Elements of the shoes such as the premium leather toe boxes and side panels along with the laces, tongues and midsoles are dressed up in white while the heel overlays, tongue branding and signature STA logos are splashed with a neutral gray tone. Additionally, you can also find notes of metallic silver get brought to the table here as they show face on the eyelets and lace tips.
The box in which these impending kicks are housed in is also treated with a special makeover. White and gray BAPE camo patterns wrap the box entirely while a golden yellow JJJJound hit is placed onto the side. Peep a first look at the pair above and note that these are expected to release during the Spring/Summer 2022 season.
In case you missed it, JJJJound recently dropped its collaborative vest collection with Eddie Bauer.
