The North Face Revives Its Epochal ‘90s Trans-Antarctica Collection
Original detailing meets modern innovations.
The North Face has delved into its archives to revive the iconic Trans-Antarctica capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2021.
Renowned as the uniform for an international team of explorers who crossed Antarctica in the 1990s, the eponymous collection’s initial success has since seen it at the heart of collaborations with the likes of Supreme and Goldwin.
Now for FW21, The North Face is bringing the collection back with details taken from the original capsule integrated with new elements, like recycled fabrics, DryVent innovations and 700 fill goose down.
Arriving alongside the capsule is the below trailer for the brand’s latest film entitled: The North Face Presents: Peace of History, which explores themes of weathering harsh conditions, global cooperation and protection of our planet.
The collection is available to buy now via The North Face website, while The North Face Presents: Peace of History is set to launch on November 10.
In other news, Spanish label Late Checkout has dropped a Wes Anderson-esque FW21 collection.
