The North Face Brings Back the Himalayan Parka for FW21
Arriving as part of the label’s “More Than a Jacket” campaign.

The North Face has looked into its archive to bring back the Himalayan Parka for this season as part of the “More Than a Jacket” campaign. The campaign itself celebrates some of the label’s most significant outerwear pieces, each of which has been designed for and worn by adventurers as they scaled summits and went on expeditions.
The jacket evolved out of the label’s Himalayan Suit, which was worn by mountaineers as they climbed Everest, and the parka contains a number of high-performance features that bring the same protection. This includes an original nylon ripstop fabrication for wind blocking, while its 550-fill of responsibly sourced down brings protection against the cold weather. These functional details and technologies are combined with an oversized fit, as well as a dual-color design and The North Face’s signature logo on the chest.
Take a look at the Himalayan Parka in the gallery above. The jacket is available now from The North Face’s web store.
For more technical gear, Jil Sander+’s upcoming Arc’teryx collaboration could drop this month.
