Netflix on Wednesday took to Twitter to announce that the platform has added three South Korean films directed by Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk to its streaming service in the United States.

“Before bringing the visually astounding and socially relevant Squid Game to life, Hwang Dong-hyuk directed several acclaimed South Korean feature films,” Netflix wrote on Twitter. “And now, three of those movies are available on Netflix in The US!”

The feature films include the 2011 crime drama Silenced, which stars Squid Game actor Gong Yoo, the 2014 comedy-drama Miss Granny, which stars Na Moon-hee and Shim Eun-kyun, and the 2017 historical drama The Fortress, which stars Kim Yoon-seok and Lee Byung-hun, who also appeared in Squid Game.

Netflix’s latest additions from the director arrive after Squid Game became the most popular original series on the streamer, following its initial debut on the platform in September. Last month, Bloomberg reported that the South Korean survival drama series created $891.1 million USD in impact value, which is a metric the company uses to “assess the performance from individual shows.”

Additionally, reports noted that roughly 132 million people watched, at the very least, two minutes of Squid Game in its first 23 days on the streamer, though the total number of people who watched the entire show was not publicly disclosed.

Watch Dong-hyuk’s full-length projects on Netflix now.

Elsewhere, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer film.
