For the Spring/Summer 2022 season, Maison Kitsuné has released a new collection suited for a vibrant city or a serene outdoor retreat. Titled “Maison Kitsuné Camp,” the new collection offers a contemporary and ageless approach towards men’s and women’s ready-to-wear garments.
Maison Kitsuné creative director Marcus Clayton furthers the brand’s playful spirit with modern silhouettes, fabrics and new design details, encompassing an art de vivre feel. The collection features a nature-inspired color palette including beige, brick, olive green, dark green, navy, brown and black. With wooded and grassy surroundings, the new collection fuses elevated casualwear with utilitarian, streetwear and sport styles.
The collection’s range of nylon and cotton outerwear, jackets, tops, suits, cargo-inspired bottoms and more utilize a slightly oversized fit that is complemented by staggered layers. Outerwear garments, which serve as a key collection component, appear in elongated minimalist overcoats, parkas with extended sleeves, light quarter-zip pullovers, bomber jackets and more to convey a sense of elevated ease.
The Maison Kitsuné fox also appears throughout the collection, not just as a logo but also as an all-over motif on a fleece jacquard fabric and a bag charm. Complementing the tonal looks are oversized chain necklaces and caps wrapped in silk scarves and poplin bandanas.
Check out the collection in the gallery above with an arrival expected for early next year.
