Nike Brings Back Its "White/Black" Dunk Low With a Sustainable Twist
Releasing as part of the Swoosh’s Next Nature program.

While it wasn’t a big-time collaboration, the white and black Dunk Low colorway made by Nike that released back in March 2021 is still one of the silhouette’s most popular colorways to release this year. It’s omnipresent in the streets both on men and women, and for good reason being that it pretty much goes with anything that you’re wearing. Retro pairs can only be found on the aftermarket now, but luckily Nike has unveiled a brand new sustainable Dunk Low “White/Black” colorway for women that essentially bears the same aesthetic but with different materials.
This iteration is releasing under Nike’s Next Nature initiative — a program that entails the brand producing more earth-friendly products. Uppers of this makeup are forged with upcycled materials and split between a crisp white hue that fills in the toe boxes, quarters, collars and tongues while black dresses up the overlays, Swooshes, and the laces. Inside the kicks, the insoles are backdropped with a bright green hue and marked with the Swoosh’s pinwheel logo. More yin and yang vibes arrive down below as the midsoles are coated in white and the outsoles are dyed in black.
It’s still unknown when these will be dropping, but a Fall/Winter 2021 release is looking promising.
