Pop Trading Company Links up With DC Shoes to Celebrate Skate Heritage
Taking on the Navigator and Lynx OG.
Amsterdam’s Pop Trading Company has partnered with DC Shoes for a two piece pack that celebrates both brands’ skate heritage. The capsule features the Navigator boot silhouette and the Lynx, both of which draw heavily on nostalgia towards DC Shoes and the label’s influence on skateboarding in the ’90s and ’00s.
Announcing the collaboration, DC Shoes said, “We’ve been fans of Pop Trading Company for a while now, so a collaboration with the Dutch brand has been a long time coming. The Pop crew helped design a unique, full grain leather Lynx OG with a custom jewel DC logo. And since Amsterdam gets chilly in winter, we also designed a special Navigator boot with premium hairy suede.”
The Lynx OG comes in a white colorway, which is contrasted against the aforementioned jewel DC logo, before being finished with a Pop Trading Company-branded footbed and DC Shoes text around the outsole. For the Navigator, the winter-ready details include the hairy suede upper, heavy duty sole unit and hiking-style laces. Pop Trading Company’s logo also appears towards the heel of the shoe.
