Official Look at the adidas YEEZY 500 "Clay Brown"
Ye adds another earthy colorway to his footwear arsenal.
Leave it to Kanye West to always find a way to insert his name into the news headlines whether that be through rocking odd masks, officially changing his name to “Ye” or dropping more YEEZY colorways with adidas. The latter is gearing up to unleash a high volume of new iterations in the remaining months of 2021, one being the adidas YEEZY 500 “Clay Brown” that has just surfaced via official imagery.
If you’ve followed along the journey of West’s fashion taste since he introduced his first adidas YEEZY collection back in 2015, then you would know that dark and earthy tones are signature to the creative genius. And this forthcoming installment definitely plays into that design language as it is formatted with charcoal gray mesh underlays, while the suede and leather overlays are dialed to a “Clay Brown” hue. Tongues are also tinted with its titular shade and come decorated with charcoal gray overlays. Packed inside the bottoms is adiPrene cushioning, and the midsoles and treading color-block between more muted gray and brown.
These are expected to launch on October 30 via adidas and other retailers for the usual $200 USD price tag.
