Dsquared2 unveils its latest Fall/Winter 2021 sneaker collection, revisiting some heritage design with splashes of color, exaggerated silhouettes and eye-catching logos. Presenting a modern twist on classics, the sneakers have been revamped with innovative materials and print techniques channeling the brand’s playful ethos.
HYPEBEAST has picked out five of the best drops from the new collection:
ICON Basket
As the name suggests, this sneaker is born out of a love for basketball. Arriving in a high-top silhouette and velcro strap, the bold black/white/red color-blocking boasts a nostalgic feel. As well as a full leather construction, the design is complete with a halved “ICON” printed on the lateral panels, also spelled out on the outer sole leaving a branded stamp in every step.
Boxer
Coming in a low-profile retro style, this sneaker’s leather upper and gum sole is reminiscent of vintage boxing kicks. An upgrade to previous versions, this silhouette features an internal raised sole for the perfect fit. With a choice of varying styles and colorways, this particular iteration champions the brand’s Canadian heritage with a maple leaf adorning the upper hidden behind its laces.
Bubble
For this drop, its rope lace system extends to the lateral and medial sides of the sneaker taking inspiration from trekking footwear. The signature semitransparent Bubble unit arrives in chromatic contrast for maximum comfort and serves as the foundation of the silhouette with Dsquared2’s founding twins, Dean and Dan printed onto the bubble.
Legend
Taking design cues from the brand’s first-ever sneaker, the 551, the Legend is a brand-new silhouette to the Dsquared2 roster. Merging aesthetics from both running and hiking shoes, this hybrid sneaker boasts a color-block palette complete with a pull tab and toggle for the most snug fit.

Much like the previous style, this Legend iteration sees a rubber sole extend to its toe box channeling inspiration from vintage racing shoes. The white leather upper contrasts with its black suede overlay for a premium feel and is rounded off with the brand’s trademark maple leaf on its outer sole.
