UNIQLO and Jil Sander Tease a Fall/Winter 2021 Return
“As we close a chapter, I wonder what the future looks like.”

Following a highly popular joint SS21 collection, fashion designer Jil Sander and UNIQLO have announced the arrival of a new collaborative Fall/Winter 2021 collection, continuing the duo’s longstanding relationship that stretches back to 2009.
UNIQLO and Jil Sander’s +J collection was one of the fast-fashion brand’s first designer partnerships. The success paved the way for others such as Christophe Lemaire, Tomas Maier, and JW Anderson, to follow. After a five-year hiatus, the +J line returned in 2020 and now continues on to round out 2021.
UNIQLO has released a short clip found below teasing the desired mood of the upcoming release along with a quote from Jil Sander that reads, “As we close a chapter, I wonder what the future looks like,” perhaps eluding to what lies beyond the pandemic era. Items in the collection have yet to be revealed, but past collections would suggest minimalist, detail-oriented and timeless pieces that utilize premium materials while maintaining an affordable price point.
The +J FW21 collection is expected to launch in the coming weeks with an exact release date yet to be announced. Stay tuned to the UNIQLO Instagram found below for more information.
