According to reports, Vicarious Visions is now working on a Diablo II remake for Blizzard. The news comes after the Activision developer behind the successful Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake was absorbed by Blizzard Entertainment.

Long rumored, the Diablo II remake was originally being handled by the Team 1 “Classic Games Team” that was recently dissolved. For several months now Vicarious Visions has been operating in a support capacity for Blizzard’s Team 3 that has been working on Diablo IV. The support is said to part of the development for the remake of the 2000s hit role-playing title, Diablo II.

It is currently just when Vicarious Visions’ Diablo II remake for Blizzard Entertainment is set to release.
