Reebok Reworks the DMX Trail Shadow With a ‘90s Hiker-Inspired Aesthetic
Built equally for the streets and the trail.

Reebok has uncovered a new entry of its DMX Trail Shadow model which has been re-conceptualized with retro hiker sensibilities. This iteration emerges right after the vector brand launched its animation-themed footwear collection with Kung Fu Panda.
For this design, the Boston-based imprint’s design team decided to make a few constructional modifications here. Gone is the customary mid-foot cage which provides a more simple-yet-sleek look. Instead, the mudguards have been beefed up in size and thus cover more ground atop the base layer. These layers are given a jet black complexion, while the heightened sections of the uppers are executed with a bright beige tone to channel a trail-friendly color palette reminiscent of the Reebok ETNA Mid from 1996. Hiker-style shoe strings are flecked and decorated with white trim to further echo its exploratory motif.
Down under, the DMX-loaded sole units are given an-all black outer to string together its full look.
If you’d like to add this rendition to your rotation this season, you can expect a global launch to occur on January 15 via Reebok and select retailers. The shoes will be priced at $160 USD.
In case you missed it, the forthcoming Dime x Reebok BB 4000 capsule has been unveiled.
