Dime and Reebok Reunite For A Collaborative BB 4000 Capsule
Hot off the heels of the two parties’ Kamikaze II Low capsule.
Dime and Reebok are ringing in the new year with a new footwear collaboration, only this time co-creating for the lifestyle consumer with two takes atop the BB 4000. This project emerges not too far out from when the imprints revealed and released its skate-meets-hoops Kamikaze II Low colorways earlier in December.
Minimal branding and neutral colors, signature design elements of the Montreal mainstay, are once again found in these street-focused iterations. For the first pair, a pure white hue dominates its full leather upper, and comes balanced out with hits of dark navy that latch onto the vector logos, the tongue branding and the mid-foot Dime tab. Hints of silver accents accompany across the branded logos present on the heels and just inside its mid-foot windows.
The design motif for the second offering falls on the darker side of the color spectrum and differentiates itself in terms of its base layer materials. Suede-constructed uppers are doused in a muted brown hue, and complemented with jet black outsoles, sock liners, laces and Dime tabs that hang towards the mid-foot. A tiny note of white contrasts through its tongue tabs as well.
Expect these pairs to drop via Dime on February 6 while select global retailers such as BSTN will release on February 12 for €109,99 (approx. $132 USD). A stateside launch hasn’t been confirmed by Reebok just yet.
