Even 35 years after it was first launched, the Air Jordan 1 continues to be one of the most ubiquitous footwear silhouettes on the planet. This year, a modernized version entitled the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT was introduced, and now it has emerged in a brand new “Modern Orange” colorway.
If you were a fan of J’s during 2018, then this particular colorway might elicit memories of the Air Jordan 1 High “Rookie of the Year” that dropped in November of that year. Its palette is closely similar to that of the installment that dropped two years ago, as its upper overlays are swathed in a harvest-esque “Modern Orange”. Toe boxes, quarter paneling and throat exteriors deviate with stark black outers, as well as yellow foam materials padded on the interior collars given the nature of this modern-day silhouette’s constructions.
Angelic finishes apply to the cut-out Swooshes, as well as on the midsoles. Completing its design down below is a two-toned outsole with solid black borders and titular hues that fill in the rest of its area.
This colorway is currently set to launch via Nike KR on January 1 for $150 USD, but expect a North American launch to likely arrive in the coming weeks.
For more footwear news, the Air Jordan 11 Adapt is set to release this week.
