Nike’s Air Max Plus Given the Corduroy Treatment
An all-black iteration of a classic and timeless sneaker.

After dressing its Air Max Plus in a fluorescent “Volt” colorway earlier this month, Nike has doused the upper of the popular silhouette in an all-black corduroy fabric.
In-keeping with an archetypal Air Max Plus, this latest iteration retains the all-over plastic detailing that’s expected of the silhouette, as well as boasting multi-colored eyelets, a metallic silver tongue and a fluorescent Nike Swoosh on the outer side wall.
Featuring a classic white midsole that houses the Air Max bubble, a combination of green, yellow, red and purple sit in the centre, beneath a smaller more camouflaged Swoosh towards the toe.
Nike Air Max Plus “Black Corduroy” is expected to launch early next year and will be available from the Nike webstore for a reported $160 USD.
