The Nike Air Max Plus 2 Returns With a "Celadon Green" Makeover
After being revived in late 2020, the TN-loaded silhouette returns with iridescent accents.
After being reintroduced to the sneaker market by Nike towards the latter half of last year, the Air Max Plus 2 is slated to continue on with its releases throughout 2021. And one of the entries being delivered this season is this newly emerged “Celadon Green” makeup.
For the most part, this installment is subtly dressed up, but it also features various vibrant accents that bring in a sizable amount of pop. To start out, the mesh uppers are given its traditional gradient execution and feature a transition from white towards the forefront and “Celadon Green” at the heel. Neighboring this are nubuck panels at the toe which match that of the titular hue, as well as curvy TPU overlays that attach to the side walls and rear. The former begins with an “Electric Pale Yellow” hue while the latter sees through to an iridescent finish. Additional shimmery finishes are found across the overlays nearest the ankle, Tuned Air-branded heels and mid-foot molds out back to channel a similar aesthetic to its “Valor Blue” offering that dropped in 2020.
In terms of the rest of the sole units, the midsole is left colorless up front and ushers in translucent Air units, while the two-toned outsole brings in notes of “Off Black” and a pale green.
For those interested in picking these up, they are available now through Nike France for €179.99 (approx. $218 USD). A stateside drop has not been confirmed yet.
In case you missed it, the Nike SB Dunk High “Baroque Brown” with vegan leather has been revealed.
