Maison Margiela and Reebok Reveal Classic Leather Tabi in "Bianchetto"
Mixing Margiela house codes with a classic silhouette.

After Kim Kardashian teased a first look recently, Maison Margiela and Reebok have come together to officially launch the CLassic Leather Tabi. The design is a combination of two famed Maison Margiela house codes with one of Reebok’s best-known silhouettes.
The stand-out feature of the sneaker is the Tabi split-toe construction, first introduced by Maison Margiela in 1988. The Classic Leather silhouette was entirely rebuilt to create the split-toe design, while the sneaker itself is constructed from nappa leather and an EVA midsole. Finishing off the design, the sneaker’s black leather base is covered in a hand-painted white coating to recall Margiela’s “Bianchetto” technique that chips with wear.
The sneaker also features hits of branding, including a Reebok logo on the lateral side. The tongue hosts both Reebok’s signature vector logo and Margiela’s classic branding.
Priced at $350 USD, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi “Bianchetto” are due to release on January 30 via the Maison Margiela and Reebok web stores.
In other footwear news, Reebok also recently gave the DMX Trail Shadow a ’90s-inspired hiking rework.
