Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and in typical form, the sneaker industry has begun to release special versions of some of its most iconic silhouettes for the occasion. The latest sneaker release to come is from adidas Originals, this year delivering a Superstar, Ozweego, Continental 80, a NY 90, and two previously-seen UltraBOOSTs each featuring an apt Valentine’s Day theme.

Kicking things off is the Superstar, which like all four pairs seen above is treated to a “Cloud White/Core Black/Scarlet” makeover. Comprising a premium white leather base with black stripes, the shell toe pair is finished with “Scarlet” red details reading off the shoe’s moniker on the lateral mid-panel, more red branding on the tongue, a red Trefoil on the rear, and of course, a red love heart on the lateral rear-quarter.

Similarly, adidas Originals’ Ozweego features a technical upper that combines a white leather base with a light cream nubuck overlay alongside black webbing three stripes. The Ozweego’s tubing is finished in “Scarlet” and links up to the lateral-side love heart, while the adiPRENE, adiPRENE+ and EVA midsole is finished in white.

The Continental 80 and NY 90 take on a more subtle aesthetic, with “Cloud White” leather dominating both sneakers. On the former, you’ll find a love heart motif on the eyestay placket and around the Trefoil logo on the heel, while the NY 90 simply puts a Trefoil love heart on the lateral mid-panel.

All four pairs of adidas Originals’ Valentines’ Day pairs are coming a month earlier than the big day, meaning they release on January 14 over on the adidas website. Take a closer look at the four above.
