Jhené Aiko Performs 'Chilombo' and 'Souled Out' Medley
Complete with her healing sound bowls.
Jhené Aiko has shared an at-home live performance of cuts from Chilombo and Souled Out.
Clocking in at approximately 15 minutes, the medley hears the GRAMMY nominee blend “Triggered (freestyle),” “Trigger Protection Mantra,” “W.A.Y.S.,” “Born Tired,” “Summer 2020,” “10K Hours” and “Magic Hour” over a harp, keyboard and her signature healing sound bowls, offering a tranquil and spiritual take on the medley.
Chilombo was released in March 2020, debuted at No. 2 and went gold by May, making it her highest-charting and fastest-selling album so far. The record also gave Aiko her fourth, fifth and sixth GRAMMY nominations, receiving nods for Album of the Year, Best Progressive R&B Album and Best R&B Performance for “Lightning & Thunder” with John Legend. Its deluxe edition dropped in July with an additional nine tracks.
