4DIMENSION® Draws From Nature and Technology for First 2021 Collection
The latest from the function focussed Taiwanese imprint.

Referencing the state of the world brought on by COVID-19, 4DIMENSION®‘s 2021 first collection aims to express a balance of nature and technology. Through its research, the function focussed Taiwanese imprint explored how clothing serves as a medium to adapt to situations through interaction with physics and reality. A prime inspiration comes in the form of the dualism of Tai-Chi expressed in the ancient Chinese book The Book of Change and binary of computer science that sees simple strings of logic generate infinitely complex programming.
Capturing that duality and applying it to contemporary culture in the modern world we live, 4DIMENSION® put together its latest offering of functional daily wear. Centered around an Earth tone color palette drawn from military and outdoor wear, the range utilizes technical elements like Dimension Polyant, 3MTM ThinsulateTM padding, YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles.
A prime example of the form and function designs is the convertible 3MTM ThinsulateTM padded SQ-1 jacket marked by a two-tone construction with contrast stitching and multiple 3D pockets. Another standout is the cropped and boxy DS-160 hight collar jacket that plays on the modern flight jacket with a convertible storm hood, dual-layer 3D pockets and water-repellent/ wind-resistant construction. Aside from T-shirts and carrying options are bottoms like the GK-1 snap button double-layer 4way-stretch fast dry fabric hiking pants and DS-6 loose fit trousers with an invisible zip opening to be worn with boots or adapt to activity.
