Nike Air Max 1 "Martian Sunrise" Offers Bold Orange Accents
And a premium leather construction.
After 33 years on the market, Nike‘s Air Max 1 is still going strong, and to kick off its 34th year the Tinker Hatfield-designed runner-turned-lifestyle-favorite is set to release in a bold “Martian Sunrise” colorway. Boasting a full leather construction and rich orange accents, the “Martian Sunrise” follows in the footsteps of other recent leather-equipped, vibrantly-colored AM1s like the “Spiral Sage” and “Mystic Dates.”
Built fully of leather — save for the standard mesh tongue — uppers mix a white toebox and collar with soft gray forefoot and heel overlays. The signature “Martian Sunrise” hue, a reddish orange a few shades north of the Texas Longhorns, appears on the mudguard, Swooshes, top eyestays and heel branding. A white mini Swoosh is present on the lateral forefoot and more orange branded hits appear on the tongue tag. White midsoles with a “Martian Sunrise” heel Air unit and tri-color outsoles round off the look.
The Nike Air Max 1 “Martian Sunrise” is priced at $150 USD, and will release via Nike SNKRS come January 14.
