'NBA 2K21' to Introduce User-Created Female Players
Only available on next-gen consoles, however.
NBA 2K21 is set to introduce user-created female players for the first time ever, but will only be available on the next-generation Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X consoles.
In a recent news release shared by Visual Concepts, developers revealed that players “will be able to create a female customizable MyPlayer.” NBA 2K21 executive producer Erick Boenisch also added that the game will include “some new features and evolutions for WNBA and next-gen [consoles],” although it’s still unclear if the WNBA will join the game’s single-player career mode.
In addition to the new female players, NBA 2K21 will include an upgrade for Pro Stick Shooting, improved motion styles, overhauled dribble mechanics, 50 new Size-Up animations, plus the removal of Quick Draw in favor of the release speed in Jump Shot Creator.
