Nike‘s Air Max Plus “Metallic Gold” that first released in 2017, and then one year later in 2018, is going to return by popular demand.

The pair is nicknamed the “Gold Bullet,” earning its name from the popular Air Max 97 colorway “Silver Bullet” that found itself translated onto the Air Max Plus when Nike was celebrating the AM97’s 20th anniversary. The AM97 did also appear in “Metallic Gold,” which once again inspired this pair here.

As a result, the sneaker’s mesh, leather, and TPU upper is completely covered in shiny gold. Red accents highlighting the swoosh on the lateral mid-panel and the “AIR” logo on the tongue have been added for an element of contrast, while a “TN” badge on the heel rounds out the upper’s detailing.

The sneaker sits atop a full-length Air midsole in white that’s finished with gold accents both inside-and-out. The Nike Air Max Plus “Metallic Gold” is set to return from September 12 exclusively via Foot Locker Inc.’s accounts, meaning the shoe will drop at Foot Locker and Champs Sports in the U.S. and Canada, as well as online at Eastbay for $160 USD.

In case you missed it, here is an official look at the Nike SB Dunk High “Doraemon.”
