'Minecraft' Announces PlayStation VR Upgrade
An immersive new feature for the sandbox video game.

Minecraft is about to receive a massive upgrade that will make the game more immersive: PlayStation VR support on the PlayStation 4.
According to sources, plans for adding VR support has been in the works since the game was approved for PlayStation 4. “Once we’ve finished the final bits of polish to the experience, the PS VR support will arrive via a patch for the main Minecraft game,” notes the official announcement. “Everyone who has Minecraft on PlayStation 4 will get that patch automatically. Download that patch and you’ll get access to the new Minecraft VR functionality.” Players will still be roaming the world of Minecraft with their DualShock 4 controllers, so the title’s controls and gameplay will remain the same, just with more of an immersive experience with the added visuals.
Though no officials dates have been revealed yet, Minecraft’s upgrade is slated to land sometime this month.
