'Minecraft' Taps 'Jurassic World' for Latest DLC
Train over 60 dinosaurs and manage your own park.
The cubed world of Minecraft is colliding with Jurassic World‘s dinosaur-infested universe in Mojang‘s latest DLC.
Announcing the news on Twitter, the Swedish video game developer revealed its latest collaboration with pop culture’s favorite reptilian franchise. The DLC will bring more than 60 dinosaurs to a whole new experience where players will act as park managers, interacting with different NPCs over a series of new quests and expeditions to discover more dinosaur DNA and keep the attractions open. You’ll also get to use vehicles along with 21 popular skins and hybrids for even more customization.
The pack is now available on all platforms which support the Bedrock version of Minecraft and will set you back 1,340 Minecoins at the Marketplace. If you’re not currently using the in-game currency, you can purchase enough of them to get the DLC for $8 USD.
Check out the preview for the new content above, or head over to Mojang’s website to learn more.
Elsewhere in gaming, the demo for NBA 2K21 will be available next week.
