MAGIC STICK FW20 Yields Traditional Patterns and Hi-Tech Fabrics
Featuring collaborations with Starter and Wild Things.
MAGIC STICK has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook, showcasing an eclectic run of classic streetwear staples with a technical edge. The expansive lineup follows the label’s previous SS20 collection which saw a much more technical approach — this season’s range has been slightly pared down for a more casual look.
The collection is split into a series of capsules: “RESONATE AFRICA,” packed with a vibrant assembly of traditional patterns and motifs; a collaboration with Starter; “MS-TECH LABO,” featuring triple-layer waterproof garments; a collab with Wild Things; and “1K MILE WEAR,” a set of breathable activewear. Large puffer jackets and denim chore coats are but a few highlights in the first capsule, accompanied by a vivid array of neon-tinged Starter tracksuits in the following lineup. Modular hi-tech garments, like black parkas and nylon overalls, showcase an affinity for stylizing functional goods, while pieces like wool blazers and trousers in the Wild Things capsule offset the collection with a slightly more tailored approach. Other pieces like mesh vests, graphic T-shirts, bomber jackets and semi-cropped trousers round off the expansive assemblage.
MAGIC STICK’s first drop of its Fall/Winter 2020 collection is currently available on the label’s website, ranging from $72 – $396 USD.
