Over 150 Capsule Toy Machines Have Been Installed in Tokyo's Akihabara Station

For fans of gachapon vending machines, KENELSTAND has installed over 150 to Tokyo’s Akihabara Station. The capsule toy machines have been placed wall-to-wall for commuters making their way through the station.

Just one of many walls of gachapon machines popping up at station across Tokyo, the design of the dispenser areas were designed by famed industrial designer Akira Mabuchi. It is interesting to note that KENELSTAND’s machines offer toys aimed at adults for a change. Included in the mix are sake bottles, designer furniture, kitchen utensils and more.
