New York-based artist Josh Sperling is widely-known for his three-dimensional sculptural works featuring squiggly forms in bright and bold hues. Sperling also has a background in furniture making and graphic design, utilizing light and space to create pop art atmospheres. The artist recently teamed up with Case Studyo on a light sculpture edition called DONUT.

DONUT is a series of thermoformed light pieces arriving in three color ways: pink, yellow and orange editions. Sized 60cm in diameter, the electric-powered accent furniture can be incorporated into any space whether its at home or in the office. “The light sculpture has the power to profoundly affect the atmosphere when incorporated in your personal space. Bathe in the DONUT’s immersive hue and experience the glow’s soothing effect,” said Case Studyo in a statement.

Each variant arrives in an edition of 125 alongside a certificate of authenticity signed by Josh Sperling. Get a closer look at the DONUT light sculptures above and head to Case Studyo’s website for more information on how you can purchase one yourself.

Elsewhere in art, a selection of rare and unseen images of David Bowie on tour in the early ‘70s will be exhibited next month at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery.
