Gunna and Lil Baby Channel 'Bird Box' in New "BLINDFOLD" Music Video
Directed by the ‘WUNNA’ rapper himself.
Gunna has dropped off an accompanying music video for his Lil Baby-assisted cut, “BLINDFOLD.”
Directed by the WUNNA rapper himself, the visual features the two collaborators in an environment similar to that of the Netflix hit Bird Box. Gunna and Lil Baby individually walk through the woods with their eyes covered, and can also be seen literally connected to each other with a long blindfold. To their luck, they eventually find a pair of working Lamborghinis abandoned on the street and they make their way to an empty building, where it’s finally safe for them to remove their blindfolds.
In a recent interview with HYPEBEAST, Gunna explained that his Wunna character is an alter ego. “I tapped in with myself for the project. I know that Drip was something that I created, something that I started and it’s always going to be there. I got infinity drip. So with this project I wanted to tap in on the artist side of me — let everyone know that I really do music,” he explained. “I wanted to start another chapter if you know what I’m saying. And that’s when I came up with WUNNA given that I’m a Gemini, that basically I’m like two people.”
