fragment design and Jordan Brand Unveil New Visuals for Upcoming Collab
An ode to ’80s sportswear.

fragment design and Jordan Brand has offered new visuals for its upcoming capsule which was unveiled just two weeks ago.
Spanning five graphic pieces, raglan fleece sweaters, T-shirts and nylon pants, and an Air Jordan 3 Retro SP, the collection was developed as an ode to classic American gym wear. fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara offered some background about the idea behind the overall concept: “I was looking at the vintage Jordan collections. I wanted to feel what the clothes looked like — the atmosphere and what it felt like to wear them then, including nylon tracksuits.” The result is an assemblage of pieces informed by ’80s sportswear, alongside graphics depicting moments of Michael Jordan on the court. Noteworthy pieces like color-blocked sweaters, co-branded long-sleeves, breathable nylon track pants and the 2004 Orca pack-inspired AJ3s round off the concise capsule.
fragment design and Jordan Brand’s apparel capsule will be available on September 17, ranging from $55 – $150 USD, while the fragment design x Air Jordan 35 is slated to drop on October 28 — the sneaker’s price has yet to be confirmed.
