ADER error‘s rise to relevance has continued unabated over the past several years and its Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook is a victory lap of sorts. The South Korean imprint has prepared a massive 160-look presentation — an edited selection is above — for its latest range, dubbed “BLUESSOM,” almost as if to assert its comfort level even amidst the pandemic.
Showcasing both men’s and women’s looks, the ADER error imagery is rich with effortless layering pieces elevated by the label’s signature whimsy. Sweaters are ragged and raw-hemmed, lending a rough-hewn contrast to the sleek tailoring, boxy outerwear and casual slacks.
Elsewhere, a more casual motif informs the exaggerated beanies, washed jeans and playful leather bags — one tote features faux belt closure — that’s complemented by painted Vans sneakers. ADER error’s signature proportion play comes by way of ultra-cropped knitwear, lengthy shirts, wide fleece jackets and pooling trousers, but safer styling comes by way of conventional “ADER” pullovers and trim jeans.
Elsewhere in Korea, we scoped the latest from Ajobyajo.
