Zagato Unveils the 2021 IsoRivolta GTZ
Mechanically based on the Corvette Z06.
It’s been 46 years since Iso released its last creation, but now Italian bespoke automaker Zagato is reviving the name with the 2021 IsoRivolta GTZ, a coupe model bringing together sheer American power with elegant Italian design in tribute of the 1963 Iso Rivolta A3.
With a curvaceous exterior design reminiscent of Maserati’s own luxury racers, the new GTZ is mechanically based on the Corvette Z06, carrying the same V8 engine but upgraded from 6.2 liters to 6.8 liters, although Zagato hasn’t revealed any specific numbers regarding its performance. The larger engine is paired with a lightweight carbon fiber body and chassis to maximize its output, while the interior boasts premium upholstery from a Milanese atelier. There’s also no pricing information yet regarding the vehicle, but only 19 examples will be made, nine of which have already been spoken for.
