White Mountaineering Brings Technical Functionality to Levi's Made & Crafted
Mixing innovative fabrics with classic denim.
After revealing its sport-inspired Spring/Summer 2021 collection last month, Japanese label White Mountaineering has partnered with Levi’s Made & Crafted for Fall/Winter 2020. The collection brings White Mountaineering’s focus on functionality and technical fabrics to classic Levi’s styles.
The collection covers both men’s and women’s pieces, featuring jackets, tops, bottoms and one dress. Throughout the selection, classic winter items such as a fishtail parka, oversized cargo pants and an M65 jacket have been constructed from denim and the re-engineered using technical fabrics and utilitarian-influenced elements.
Elsewhere, the Levi’s 505 jean has been constructed from a mix of denim and nylon, while White Mountaineering has also put a twist on the archival Sunset popover shirt, adding contrasting materials to the sleeves. Finishing some pieces are co-branded elements featuring a White Mountaineering logo about the Levi’s Made & Crafted Two Horse Pull graphic.
Take a look at pieces from the collection in the gallery above. The White Mountaineering x Levi’s Made & Crafted collection is due to release on September 4.
