Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow Celebrate RCA Records Partnership With New Single "Tip Toe"
A major move for the Brooklyn drill pioneers.
Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow‘s Winners Circle Entertainment has inked a major label record deal with RCA Records, celebrating the partnership with their new single “Tip Toe.”
As one of the recent leaders of New York’s drill scene, Winners Circle — co-owned by Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Eli Fross, Great John, Jerm Soto and White Jorge — is utilizing this partnership with RCA Records to continue delivering high-quality content, developing new business models, pushing cultural boundaries and broadening their audience.
“We’re happy to be here. We worked hard and led the streets for a minute. Now it’s time to take this whole thing over. We did that. And there’s more coming,” Sheff G said in a statement. RCA Records President of Urban Music Mark Pitts added, “It’s great to see NY rap getting back into these conversations, especially in my hometown of Brooklyn. Winners Circle is not just a clique, they’re a MOVEMENT. Hip-hop is continuously evolving and they are ushering in the next wave of the culture. To paraphrase the great BIG – That Brooklyn bullsh*t, THEY on it!”
To kick off the partnership, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow delivered their latest cut “Tip Toe,” which samples Tiny Tim’s ukulele-based hit “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” and is a major contrast to the gritty verses delivered on the track.
Elsewhere in music, Frank Ocean is reportedly working on a secret project.
