uniform experiment Adds Functionality to Traditional Garments for FW20
From cream-colored field jackets to insulated parkas.
uniform experiment has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection. Taken under a faint overcast, the label shot a video lookbook to spotlight some key styles from the upcoming season. The new visuals follow the label’s military-inspired SS20 imagery from back in January.
Spanning garments like mohair sweaters, chore coats, gray sweatpants, mac coats, khakis, checkered flannels, insulated parkas and clean button-ups, to name a few, the collection riffs on traditional silhouettes, refined with modern hi-tech fabrics. Pieces like the elongated rain jacket and olive puffer jacket demonstrate a polished take on functional outerwear, enlivening them with relaxed cuts and understated colors for a mature look and feel. More vivid styles, like a red flannel with paint-splatter details and a cream-colored field jacket, offer bolder styles to the eclectic lineup. Other pieces like the checkered trousers, polka-dot button-up, gray sweater and olive long-sleeve round off the expansive assemblage.
uniform experiment’s Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection is slated to land on August 7 on the label’s website — prices have yet to be confirmed.
