Sevdaliza has dropped off a music video for her new single “Habibi,” set to appear in her upcoming album Shabrang.

The visual marks the Iranian-Dutch artist’s directorial debut, and chronicles her journey to take back her power and redefine herself against the numerous forces in her life. The “Habibi” video is also an introduction to her new directorial partnership with Anastasia Konovalova, sevda+ana — billed as “a powerhouse female visionary duo that will continue to produce select branded and passion projects, in addition to Sevdaliza’s own work.”

Shabrang is Sevdaliza’s sophomore studio album and is the followup to 2017’s ISON. The 15-track project will focus on a “journey of self-discovery, self-love and finding peace amongst all of the chaos in the world,” and will feature previous singles “Lamp Lady,” “Oh My God” and “Joanna.”
