Champion Introduce Patented Hoodies for Gamers
Featuring replaceable Velcro patches and oversized hoods for headsets.
Champion introduces a new Gamer Collection made alongside 40-plus gamers and athletes to specifically capture both style and functionality in its activewear pieces. The hoodies and sweatpants highlighted also debuts Champion’s first patent-pending design in over 50 years.
The hoodies are available as both zip-ups and pullovers with oversized hoods designed to specifically to cover people wearing headsets. The sleeves have a unique rib cut to help prevent them from sliding when gaming. Pockets on both hoodies and sweats are lined with an “ultra-warm microfleece” to keep hands warm and limber between games. The hoodies even have a kangaroo pocket with zippers big enough to put phones and console controllers inside securely. Another zip pocket at the left chest has an internal credit card slot. Champion also details the fabric of the hoodies and sweatpants are made of a “modern fleece fabric” that promises “odor control technology.”
The standout feature of the hoodie designs are its Velcro patches on the chest and left shoulders that can be removed and replaced with esports sponsor logos or team patches. Campion already has several Velcro patches available for a limited time only.
Champion’s Gamer Collection is available now and includes a $90 USD zip hoodie, an $80 USD pullover hoodie, and $50 USD sweatpants in gray and black.
