Bon Iver joined forces with Taylor Swift for her new track “exile,” taken from the songstress’ surprise album folklore.

The only listed artist collaboration on Swift’s 16-track album, the piano-dependent cut opens with an intimate offering from Iver. Swift comes in with her own verse before the two collide on a powerful bridge, the stripped back sonic layout really highlighting the vocals of the two singer-songwriters.

folklore was only announced less than 24 hours before its release and is the followup to Swift’s 2019 album, Lover. She’s joined by a number of high-profile artists/producers such as The National‘s Aaron Dessner and his twin brother Bryce, Justin Vernon, William Bowery and frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.
