Ski Mask The Slump God Calls For Change on "Burn The Hoods"
Taking aim at racism, injustice, and inequality.
As fans wait for his sophomore album, Ski Mask The Slump God has returned with a new track, titled “Burn The Hoods.” Playing off the controversial title, the incendiary new single takes aim at racism, injustice, and inequality.
Serving as Ski Mask’s first release of 2020, the release of “Burn The Hoods” is accompanied by an over the top music video directed by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade. Produced by YoungKio, the track features a horror movie-esque beat that pair perfectly with the rapper’s nonstop lyrical style. Throughout “Burn The Hoods,” Ski Mask makes reference to recent events in the United States through a string of off-kilter rhyme patterns.
