Popular LA-based label RHUDE has released its newest digital lookbook from the Paris fashion week presentations. For this range, designer Rhuigi Villaseñor looks to themes of the American dream and interprets the meaning to what the modern wardrobe looks like in light of the world’s current state. Villaseñor recently received his American citizenship, he came to the U.S. as an immigrant from the Philippines and now has become one of fashion’s wildly successful designers. RHUDE has become popular amongst athletes, celebrities and across the general streetwear population.

Dubbed “The Audacity to Dream,” RHUDE’s Spring Summer 2021 lineup takes cues from the styles of actors Carey Grant and Paul Newman. Their classic wardrobes are then given the modern streetwear twist which Villaseñor defines as the new essentials for the modern man. The pieces are focused on relaxed staples such as tees, buttoned tops, hoodies, straight-leg trousers and a few leather garments. Sure standouts include a patched collegiate varsity jacket, a camo cardigan and a double-breasted leather jacket. Overall, the designs take on the familiar cozy ethos of the brand. There are a mix of sporty and lounge-y pieces here that are fit to be part of an everyday uniform. The range is less logo-based than what Villaseñor has put out before but the splashes of pattern do make up for the missing graphic element.

In other fashion news UNDERCOVER’s latest collection has been presented in 3D. As a reminder, HBX is an official stockist of the RHUDE brand.
