Nike Drops Daybreak Sneaker In Two Bold Retro Colorways
Choose from “Neptune” or “Limelight.”

Following a string of
Nike‘s Daybreak silhouette is a retro running sneaker that debuted in 1979. Since it has been re-released, the pair has been worked over by UNDERCOVER, appeared as an SP model, and has adopted many vintage colorways. Today, Nike presents more old school colors in the form of “Neptune” and “Limelight,” the former combining blue tones with yellow, and the latter mixing black with lime green.
Both pairs feature a base made from Nexkin fabric — a stretch-woven material that is light and breathable, yet conforms to the shape of the wearer’s foot — as well as suede overlays. These patches can be found around the toe box, at the heel and rear-quarter, on the eyestay and for the large swoosh emblem.
Contrasting elements come in the form of a mesh tongue with vintage Nike branding on the tag, as well as the large Nike stamp on the heel. Both pairs are finished with a white EVA midsole and a black waffle-pattern outsole.
