KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "Tokyo" Receives Official Look and Release Date
Dropping exclusively at KITH’s new Tokyo flagship.

KITH has teamed with Nike to release a special Air Force 1 “Tokyo” in celebration of its Shibuya flagship’s grand opening. Inspired by Nike Sportswear‘s legendary CO.JP releases from the early ’00s, the “Tokyo” is a love letter from KITH founder Ronnie Fieg to Japan-exclusive Forces and Japanese culture.
Conceptualized around the colors of Japan’s flag and constructed from premium white tumbled leather, the design is packed full of notable details. Red hits appear on the forefoot’s mini Swoosh and sultry velvet collar lining. Tongue tags feature a Japanese flag, overlaid with a KITH spellout graphic. Quarter panels are dressed in KITH’s signature debossed monogram print, with heels and insoles alike presenting a special KITH Air graphic. This sporty mixture of white and red is quickly given a healthy dose of classic flair by an aged sail midsole and outsole. An alternate set of metal-tipped laces rounds out the offering.
Much like the CO.JPs it was inspired by, the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 “Tokyo” will release exclusively in Japan on July 4. Pairs will be available via an appointment basis at the KITH Tokyo flagship, and retail is set at ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $140 USD).
Elsewhere in the world of KITH, the brand recently presented its Summer 2020 collection, full of Moroccan tile-inspired patterns and new Vans Slip-Ons.
