Noah Centineo Joins 'Black Adam' as Atom Smasher
Starring alongside Dwayne Johnson.

Earlier in May, the team behind the upcoming Shazam! spinoff Black Adam confirmed that the Justice Society of America will play a part in the movie, and now DC Comics has cast the superhero team’s first member.
Noah Centineo — who rose to fame for his role in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before — will portray the character of Atom Smasher, one of Black Adam’s best friends in the comics. For those unfamiliar, Atom Smasher is a superhero who possesses the ability to manipulate his molecular structure and the spaces in between them, which translates into him being able to increase significantly in strength, size, and density.
Centineo will star alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who’ll play the titular anti-hero in the film, with Jaume Collet-Serra directing. Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo. and Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Production will all be producing.
Black Adam is currently slated for release on December 22, 2021. Stay tuned for more updates to come.
