Rick Owens Wraps Hi-Tops With White Rubberized Bondage
Multi-layered tapes cover the rugged silhouette.
Rick Owens has unveiled a pair of white bondage-wrapped hi-tops, following its recent Spring/Summer 2021 showcase.
Most of the sneakers have been kept clean, sporadically swathed with white rubberized tape. While most of the shoe is covered up, outlines of the silhouette’s high-top mold can still be seen, like the tongue, laces and rubber toecap. Sitting next to two small vent holes are contrasting silver-toned zippers along the medial sides for easy access. Completing the minimal look, the shoe’s midsole has been wrapped, too, finalized by three jagged staples at the heel.
