Balenciaga's Futuristic Tyrex Sneaker Gets Dressed in "Triple White"
The summer-ready offering could be yours for $895 USD.
Balenciaga has dropped its divisive Tyrex sneaker in a clean “Triple White” colorway, giving the futuristic shoe a summer-ready makeover.
The pair, which is designed by Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, has previously appeared in other summery hues such as silver and “Fluo Yellow.” Here, its nylon, mesh, faux leather, and rubber overlapping panels have been given an all-white makeover — even the rope laces, heel unit and fabric details have been finished in white, adding to the crisp aesthetic.
Contrasting the upper is the Tyrex’s signature toe badge which appears in silver with black text. At the rear, Balenciaga’s now-signature size stamp appears in black on the heel component, while touches of cream have been used to highlight different areas of the heel.
Rounding out the pair is embossed Balenciaga branding on the heel and a crisp white outsole. Take a look at the Balenciaga Tyrex “Triple White” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair for yourself at retailers such as Browns for $895 USD a pair.
