After being unveiled late last year, Balenciaga‘s Tyrex Sneakers have now release in its bright and bold “Fluo Yellow” colorway.

Combining elements of sportswear, classic office shoes and understanding of human anatomy, the tech-focused footwear option features an asymmetrical caged upper. The upper is defined by a blunt square toe marked with “TYREX” branding and an intricately layered upper inspired by the “natural web of muscles beneath the skin, combined with the musculature within high performing sneakers.”

The tonal neon upper is accented by a matching lace-up, contrasting black elements at the heel and padded collar sockliner, and grosgrain pull-loop. Additional branding details come in the form of rubberized “TYREX” naming at the tongue and “BALENCIAGA” branding at the rear. Elevating the shoe are matching shock-absorbing mid and outsoles crafted to look like an infinity symbol and a subtle heel lift.

Priced at $995 USD, Balenciaga’s Tyrex Sneaker is available now in “Neon Green” at SSENSE.

In case you missed it, MIHARAYASUHIRO’s Original Sole Sneakers recently received a black overdye makeover.
