Since its birth in 1984, adidas OriginalsZX sneaker has become one of the most recognizable silhouettes in the brand’s arsenal. It’s a sneaker that has undergone countless reworks yet has always remained at the forefront of footwear technology.

Now for 2020, adidas Originals has merged the classic ZX with its innovative BOOST technology to bring us the adidas ZX 2K BOOST. Fusing elements of the ZX with the innovative midsole technology – this bold silhouette takes its lead from the more layered designs of later ZX models.

The upper is crafted with an engineered mesh, with welded overlays and a tongue-free step-in construction that makes for a comfortable ankle fit. Arriving in three eye-catching colorways – “Solar Yellow/Hi-Res Red”, “White/Violet Pink” and “White/Neon Yellow” – each ZX 2K BOOST features a technical lacing system and jagged designs to complete a bold look.

The adidas ZX 2K BOOST sneakers launch globally on August 1 and will be available from the adidas web store.

In other news, an all-black iteration of adidas’ ZX 2K 4D sneaker is arriving at the end of the month.
