Watch the Riveting New Trailer for 'The King's Man' Movie
Starring Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson.
Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man is back with a brand new trailer. The upcoming movie will be a prequel to the lauded franchise, set long before the event of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson will be starring in the comedic action flick, taking on the role of some of the earliest agents of the cabal. According to Vaughn, the origins of the franchise’s slogan “manners maketh the man” will be explained and how it came to be: “we’ll discover why one of my favorite lines in the new film is… ‘reputation is what people think you are, character is who you are.’ It’s got a lot of what I’ll call home truths for our modern society that would be good to remember.” The director noted, “It’s an allegory… World War I happened due to some crazy politicians and political movements that got out of control. Everybody thought there couldn’t be a war, and then it happened. We’re living in a crazy time right now.” Besides Fiennes and Dickinson, the cast will also include the likes of Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, Rhys Ifans, Gemma Arterton and Charles Dance, to name a few.
